Parenting is a really challenging experience, but it's definitely easier if you have a partner you can rely on. If you have a partner that you're parenting with, the two of you can split the parenting responsibilities accordingly and discuss the future of your children together. However, if you have a partner that you can't rely on, then that's a whole 'nother story. In today's 'Am I the A$$hole?' post, OP proved that he's the kind of partner his wife shouldn't rely on. OP and his wife have a 4-year-old daughter with autism who happens to be sick at the moment. The fact that their daughter is sick obviously makes both their lives a little more stressful. Apparently, OP was invited to a ski trip with his friends and asked his wife if he could go to blow off some steam.
